Critical
1Incentive Calculator Returns Incorrect Federal ITC for Battery Storage
When configuring solar + battery storage systems with battery capacity over 10kWh, the federal ITC calculator incorrectly calculates the battery portion of the credit. It applies 30% ITC to the full battery cost instead of prorating based on solar charging percentage. This affects quotes for residential battery systems in v1.2.0.
Manually adjust battery ITC calculation in proposals until fix is deployed.
- Calculate battery ITC at 30% × (solar charging % × battery cost)
- Edit proposal PDF template to show corrected ITC amount before sending to customer
High Priority
2Proposal Generation Slow for Large Commercial Systems
Generating proposals for commercial solar systems with 200+ panels takes 45-60 seconds instead of the expected 10-15 seconds. The delay occurs during the panel layout rendering phase and affects C&I quotes in v1.2.0 deployments with high proposal volume.
Use simplified panel layout view for large systems to speed up generation.
- In Settings > Proposal Templates, enable 'Fast Mode for 100+ Panel Systems'
- This disables 3D rendering for large arrays and uses top-down layout view only
- Reduces generation time to 15-20 seconds for large commercial systems
Equipment Catalog Not Updating Pricing from Distributor Feeds
Automated equipment catalog pricing updates from distributor API feeds are not being processed correctly. Solar panel and inverter prices remain static even when distributors publish updated pricing. This affects accuracy of quotes when distributor prices change.
Medium Priority
2Utility Rate Database Missing Q4 2025 Rate Updates
The utility rate database has not been updated with Q4 2025 rate changes for several major utilities including PG&E, SCE, and SDG&E in California. This affects savings calculations for solar proposals in these territories.
Manually update utility rates in Settings > Utility Rates.
- Download latest utility rate schedules from utility websites or go to Settings > Utility Rates and update rates manually
State Rebate Search Returns No Results for Some States
The state incentive and rebate search functionality returns zero results for solar installations in Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire, even though active programs exist. This is a data issue in the incentive database affecting Northeast quotes.
Low Priority
1Panel Degradation Chart Shows Incorrect Y-Axis Scale
The 25-year panel degradation chart in solar proposals displays an incorrect Y-axis scale (0-120% instead of 80-100%), making the degradation curve appear more dramatic than it actually is. This is a cosmetic issue in proposal PDFs.
